Hacking ios58 24.32 cant install own channels

Hi

I am new here..
I have successfully installed HBC to 4.1 few years back.

But now I got my friends wii 4.3E ios 58 24.32.
The letterbomb installs HBC and "installs" modMii easily but I have few problems.

I cant get Usb GX or other wads as a channel like I got it with my 4.1.

is it possible anymore?

Letterbomb tells that:
Bootmii: can only be installed as an IOS
The installed boot1 version prevents a boot2 install (-2)

When I start modMii from HBC and go to info it says "sysmenu: 4.3E boot1? boot2v4"

I did backup of nand with modMii, it was successful, but when I try to restore it, modMii says that modMii cannot be found and it is too dangerous to continue.
What is Z button on wii, as the controller does not work in modMii?

Why I cannot restore backup? as would it be easier to restore my 4.1 wii nand backup to get the 4.3E working?

When Trying to downgrade to ios36 it says that "error: ES_AddTitleStart (-2011)

Hi,

you should stop using (really) outdated methods to gain full access on Wii.
and please don't try to downgrade System Menu or IOS, this is ridiculously useless nowadays. All major homebrews are able to use AHBPROT, no need to tweak anything. Just use the correct tools !

Download and use YAWMM_EN (or any Wad Manager that is able to use AHBPROT) to install your wads. You don't need anything else.

But.. Now what, how do I get the usb loader gx 3 to work..
I followed (CompleteSoftmodGuide) guide to install ios56 to 249 and 250. After that usb loader does not recognize my usb drive. before that guide the loader recognized my usb drive..
wiiflow recognizes my usb drive but the screen goes black when starting a game.

I got it to work, patched the 249 with ios53.

nowadays, hacking a wii is just a question of a few homebrews, don't even need a tutorial for this, you have already done the "hard" part (exploit + homebrew channel) :

• download cIOS d2x Installer 3.1 and install cIOS d2x v8 (*)(base IOS56 on slot 249, base IOS57 on slot 250)
• download the latest USBLoader GX here
• use a drive with one FAT32 partition (GC, Wii, emuNAND) OR one FAT32 (GC, emuNAND)+one NTFS (Wii) partitions, Cyan has written a great FAQ about it (you should read it...BTW I don't have its link)
• Done !

(*) you can try d2x V10 beta52 or beta53 before v8, to see if your drive is compatible. If it's not detected, downgrade to d2x v8.

To be fair, it's hard to keep track of modern Wii homebrew and stuff because it's (almost) a dead homebrew platform, so nobody pays attention and assume nothing's changed.
