Hello, I searched a few key words in an attempt to find my problem but to no avail. So, I bought a second hand PSP some time ago, it was mostly for PS1 titles digitally, I want to play my old PSx games on the go. Anyway, I put some PSN games on like FFVIII and also an eBoot, Frogger 2. Everything was fine, but there was 1 unreleased game I wanted to play, Resident Evil 1.5. For those of you who don't know, it was an unfinished version of Resident Evil 2 that was eventually leaked on the net and so a couple of people took it on themselves to make the game finish-able and cleaner. So, I downloaded the game file and patched it with the mod and tried to load it on my PSP. It works, but seems like something is wrong, some zombies have infinite health and the background pops behind the player sometimes. I wasn't sure what the problem was and looked to a forum of others playing it, a few said POPS version 3.7 was a good one to play.

I didn't need POPSLoader until then, so I tried to install it and here lies the problem, it's not actually visible or usable on the PSP, anywhere. I can't seem to get it to exist on there, despite setting up as instructed.

I am using cfw 6.60 Pro-C on a PSP 1000.

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
