Hacking in the future, will there be a way to inject the modified compatibility list on newer xbox360?

i miss playing metal dungeon on the original xbox, it really is a shame that it's not backwards compatible on the xbox360, but even so, i can't help but wonder if in the foreseeable future, there would be a way to inject the modified backwards compatibility list into a non-jtagged 360 console, thus allowing us to play those unsupported original xbox game disc from back then. thank you so much for letting me know!

Yes. RGH your console. Works just as well as JTAG here.

As that is a hardware mod still I am guessing that is not what you want. Such a thing as you describe then requiring either a softmod or a release/derivation/leak of the keys. The former is not expected owing to the onboard security and the latter would be a first for Microsoft I think, and is similarly not expected.
