Gaming Imagine if there was a BotW Construction Set

Like the Elder Scrolls. And we could create our own items and give them particular effects. And create new locations and NPCs and program side quests. Maybe it would have to go through a vetting process so that no mod was ever game-breaking (eg no infinite durability 100-damage weapon in a chest in front of the Shrine of Resurrection). Then we could download them from the eShop. Maybe they could even cost money and have a similar structure to the app store (Nintendo get a cut).

The game would last forever then, much like people are still playing Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim today.

I would like to see the fully upgraded Zora armour set let you breathe underwater like the Zora Tunic, and have there be some Iron Boots. And flesh out the environment under water so there were interesting things to explore.

I think this is the first 3D Zelda game where you dont get to swim underwater, only the surface of the water. After playing the game 100+ hours you realize how pointless it is to have any sort of diving in the first place when there are so many other tools for exploring.

BOTW isn't like MM it's a nice idea but will never happen OFFICIALLY so
