There are some games that just have poor dialogue or they are just boring. I would like to use a video editor to add in my own dialogue and cutscenes of resident evil to make it more funny. Has anybody ever done this? It would be similar to red versus blue but just different games. It seems very straightforward. But is there something I am missing? Is it more difficult than it looks?

I thought Red vs Blue and most other machinima was overdubbed.

Anyway should be simple enough. Find the audio track (which may or may not be in the video file, and yes being Microsoft a lot of things use a variation on the theme of WMV and WMA, indeed I believe the 360 has an accelerator for decoding WMA audio) and edit it. Like most consoles you are probably going to have a narrow range of acceptable settings, which may or may not be easy to pull off with either modern software or baseline software and force you instead to go hunting for software and settings (hopefully the existing audio gives you at least a few of the settings to start off with).
