Hacking i need a little help installing Boot9Strap

I have a Old 3ds xl with Boot9Strap, Stock 2ds Xl and Acekard HW81.

I have followed all the steps to flashing NTrboot to my acekard and was successful.

I am on these steps

Section II - ntrboot

1. Use the magnet to find the spot on your device where the sleep sensor is triggered
   • This step is not needed on the old 2DS (which has a sleep mode switch)
2. Power off your device
3. Insert your flashcart into your device
4. Place the magnet on your device to trigger the sleep sensor
   • On old 2DS, you should instead enable the sleep mode switch
5. Hold (Power) + (Start) + (Select) + (X) for several seconds, then release the buttons
   • It may take a few attempts to get this to work because the positioning is awkward
6. If the exploit was successful, you will have booted into SafeB9SInstaller.

I put the magnet on and switch my 2ds xl on and hold Start,Select, Power and X but nothing happens.
after so many fails I inserted my acekard into my old 3ds with CFW and its now not being detected as before and same for my stock 2ds xl which was never detected anyway.

even though the acekard with NTRboot was a success have I bricked it?

Your Acekard should be detected on the CFW 3DS.

after inserting it a few times into my old 3ds xl its being detected.
when I put it into my stock 2ds xl and turn off an dpower on using the button combination nothing happens it just loads up in sleep mode.

That means the cart isn't flashed properly, or the buttons aren't being held down properly, or the cart isn't detected.

Hold the buttons before you press power. Just press power for a second so the blue light comes on. Keep holding the buttons for a few seconds. Then let go.

can I just reflash the acekard? or have I got to remove it then reflash it?

go back to the guide and start over and make sure you do everything correctly. repeat this until you get it working.

Are you positive you're placing the magnet in the right place? Just to check, power on the 2ds xl and place the magnet just to the right of the X button and see if it activates sleep mode.

Thanks guys, I reflashed my acekard again and it worked I now have B9S installed
