The version of Jellyfish's song Ignorance is Bliss that's on all their own releases features a different lead vocal mix than the version that was originally released in 1991 on Nintendo's compilation album White Knuckle Scorin'.
Funnily, it's the version on the White Knuckle Scorin' album that is modified. Most of the vocal lead vocal track is pitch-shifted down so as to make it sound more Bowser-like, but one part in the middle is not pitch-shifted.
None of the lead vocal track is pitch-shifted on all other releases of the song, and even the famous fan-made animated music video uses the non-modified mix despite quoting the comic that came with the White Knuckle Scorin' album.
(Yes, it's actually somewhat canon that Bowser wanted to join OPEC and become an oil tycoon, that wasn't just made up by the fans who made the video.)
