I have an Australian Wii with the 4.1E Firmware installed. I followed the "Modify any Wii 4.2 & below, aka the simplistic mod" by xzxero and have been able to load a Scrabble Interactive backup and my real copy of Wii Sports. I followed each step except the last one which related to GC Back ups. I have burned a copy of Animal Crossing Let's Go To The City using Imgburn and a Verbatim Disk at 8×. I have tried to load it using NeoGamma R7 but have received a 1101 Disc Read Error. It was a PAL version and Europe and Australia are in the same region so I doubt it was due to region problems.
All the threads I have searched up relate to updating problems with firmwares around 3.1. I don't know what the cause of my problem is and would appreciate any advice.
