This is a simple tutorial on how to fix a plain white wii for the cost of $0 dollars with just a butternife


This is way 2 to fix wii making sound, use butternife and stick into wii and then on landscape mode put nife on the top then push to the bottom then pull up. If you hear a little clink sound that means you did it.

Once your wii is up you will see Wii System Update and that means you did it right

I highly recommend NOT randomly putting a butter knife in the Wii's disc drive, since there's a good chance you could do some actual damage, e.g. scratch the laser.

"Wii System Update" just means that the disc you inserted has a newer version of the System Menu or some IOS than is currently installed, and doesn't mean anything about this specific "fix".
