How to Restore Your Savegame from Error 160-4711 or 160-0105

Hi everyone,

So I just found out the way to safely restore save game data from 'broken' USB stick to NAND using SaveMii.

I was devastated after hours of Xenoblade X, and found out my Wii U suddenly declare my USB stick dead, and I've searched everywhere for solution and most of them told just to let it go.

So basically, here's what you can do about it :
  1. Unplug the USB Stick from Wii U
  2. Turn on the Wii U
  3. Go to CFW Mode (Health and Safety app)
  4. Go to MiiMaker / HBC
  5. While on HBC, plug in your broken USB stick
  6. Go to SaveMii
  7. From there you can browse and copy your save data
  8. Choose the game you want to backup / restore, and press Copy to NAND
  9. This also a good time to backup to SD Card
  10. After all done, go back to HBC by pressing Home key
  11. While in HBC menu, remove the USB stick and go back to the Wii U Home menu
  12. Check if your save game can be restored.
I also made a video tutorial for that as well

I haven't confirm if this will work on everyone.
But yeah I hope this works for everyone in the future who got those errors. And after that remember to buy Y cable and use HDD instead.
