How To Copy Profile From One Xbox To Another

I have an RGH that is completely dead...hard drive works.

Is there a way for me to "Move" the profile from the hard drive to a new hard drive on a different RGH?

From what I remember the hard drives in the 360 aren't locked to the console so you should just be able to swap the drive to a different rgh console and have everything in tact.

If it's a stock HDD, I'd say hook it up on a computer and run USB_XTAF or Party Buffalo driver and extract it manually.
If it's an upgraded, it might not work.

Hooking it up to a retail 360 should also work but it might sign in a profile or do unexpected things.
I'd surely disconnect it from the network before attempting if I were you.

the one thing I'm not sure about here is the device id. all content has both a profile and device id tied together.

Ah - Party Buffalo was the software I was looking for. I knew there was something other than FatXplorer

Eh, I know it works for games and stuff, and I can just log in with the new profile on the new rgh...

Hopefully game saves transfer over as well.
