How do I use an old Sony PS2 controller device to play on Switch (Mario Kart)

I bought a Reebok cyber rider bike 20years ago. You connected this excercise bike and used it as a controller straight into PS2 and played racing games as you cycled

Through the years I used it on the xbox original and PC using adapters

Unfortunately many adapters (PS2 to GC, ps2 to usb etc wont work on it). Also Never managed to get it working on thee wii-u usiing the HID to VPAD homebrew

How am i going to connect this antique to work on my Hacked Swicth and use it as a controller

Please recommend Either some homebrew or a good adapter

See https://github.com/cathery/sys-con for homebrew support of wired controllers. It says it supports Xbox 360/One X/S and DS3/4 so if you have a working adapter for any of them you might get somewhere.
