I'm bored and I would like to mess around with Cheatcodes and my old gamecube games.
But I don't know how to load cheatcodes using Nintendont. I've downloaded a .gct file using this site: https://gamehacking.org/index.php?chid=G&r=*&l=all

The way I'm trying to do it is as follows:

- Select Codes from site, download .gct file with Game's Name (not game's ID) ... I've made sure to select NTSC-U region for my NTSC-U games when creating the .gct file.
- Make folder in root of SD called "Codes" and place Game_Name.gct file on it.
- Load Nintendont via Homebrew Channel, enable Cheats ON (not loading Nintendont through any external USB loader and not enabling "Cheat Path ON")
- Load game/disc
- Cheats won't work

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

HOLY SHIT WAIT A MINUTE

I've changed the .gct file name in the Codes folder from Game's Title to Game's ID and now they're working.

Oops... requesting a deletion/thread lock.

But just for the record...

Steps to load cheatcodes on Nintendont;

- Generate .gct file with cheatcoes.
- Name .gct file with Game's ID (NOT THE TITLE OF THE GAME!)
- Create Codes folder on root of SD and place GAMEID.gct file on that folder. Remove SD and place it on Wii.
- Load Nintendont
- Before loading your game, press B to turn the Cheats option ON (Don't select "Cheat Path")
- Load Game.
