I recommend you take a quick gander at this: http://gbatemp.net/help/terms

As much as I go throwing that link around these days, it's honestly not very applicable here. He's not asking for an ISO, he's asking why what he downloaded isn't in a proper format.

As for the OP, I'll admit I know next to nothing about PS2 ISOs, it sounds like that is the extracted contents of the ISO. A quick Google search of "IOPRP250" confirms this. If you downloaded a multi-part ISO, make sure you're opening the *part1.rar or *.rar file rather than any of the *.part02.rar (and so on) or *.r00, *.r01, etc files. A good guide for that is here - http://www.philipp-winterberg.com/software/rar_faq_multipart_spanned_split_multivolume_files.php

If that doesn't fix it (and honestly I'm not expecting it would), you may have downloaded just the extracted contents. I don't know of anything that can re-combine everything into the ISO of the game, so you may need to look into downloading a different release if that's the case. As per the rules (conveniently linked above), please do not ask on GBAtemp.net where to find another place to download your game. ROM sites are like Fight Club here. We talk about neither.

Hope this was a little help, maybe another member with some more experience can step in and provide more information. Good luck!

EDIT - also, keep in mind, if you have your un-RARing program associated with *.rar filetypes, you may not realize that you might be extracting the actual ISO instead of a RAR just because of the file icon. Don't extract the ISO! Leave it as is if that's the case!

I wasn't sure how strict that policy is, but I figured I'd at give him a chance to see it to avoid getting a ban if it did fall on the dark side. I've seen enough threads with people at least getting criticized asking for help with downloaded stuff instead of at least sarcastically saying it was ripped.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze

    Booo.

same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in

    it's dumb

    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
