ROM Hack Question How can I modify texts of a switch game?

I have the NSP file of a Nintendo Switch game that I want to translate and I am using Ryujinx for emulation and testing.
I have already exported the ExeFS and RomFS data, I would like to know where the text files are located and how to modify them.

Highly depends of the game implementation...
It could be a resource so it will be located in RomFS (in any file/subdirectory), or it could be directly in the executable (if it's a really often used text) so it will be in ExeFS "main" file.
If you modify a file, then, the easiest way to test it is to use LayeredFS feature from Atmosphere.

This is very dependent on used engine. This is like asking "how to repair a car?". Now ask yourself how many informations you are lacking to even start sending a proper reply that will answer this question. This is the same case with your question here.

We don't know title of game, used engine, files that are storing your strings, what encoding, if it needs font editing, how fonts are stored, etc. Learning you everything that will give you a proper basic understanding how to start reverse engineer every game will take many months (years if you don't know C/C++ at all).

Noone cares if you are using emulator or not, or if you have nsp or not. Those informations are irrevelant.

I see, I am new to this, and it is true that I was not very specific, but still thanks for the answers.
As for the game, it's about Nintendo's visual novel that premiered last month, Famicom Detective Club.
I intend to create a translation patch in different languages. I could not tell you what engine it uses, as I tell you I am new and should learn a couple of things before, so I will be investigating about it.

As for the game, it's about Nintendo's visual novel that premiered last month, Famicom Detective Club.

Visual Novels are very specific games to translate. Often they are using their own custom engine and they can use complicated files that are not possible to translate without decompilation, which in worst case will require someone with skills in programming and reverse engineering.
I need to look at files first to say how hard it will be.
