Hacking how can I get my R4i Platinum to work again?

My DSi is on firmware v1.4.1U and my R4i no longer works. The R4i Plat website has an upgrade that's supposed to make it work but I can't run it if my card doesn't work at all. Is there any other way I can get it to work again?

Be more specific. Did you update your DSi and the R4i isnt recognized?

I updated it a while ago. In the DSi menu, the card shows up as Danny Phantom, just as it should. When I try to play it, I get this error: "An error has occured. Press and hold the Power Button to turn the system off. Please see the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for help troubleshooting."

If the site(your R4 clones site) states that you can update it to get it to work, all you need is another DS to run that update.
