Homebrew homebrew version of pksm crashes on n2dsxl 11.5?

hello, my friend uses the homebrew version of pksm, he gets into homebrew with oot3dhax(cartrige) and then swaps the cartrige to an alpha saphire one, then when he presses pksm the console crushes, any suggestions?

Each time he tries or occasionally? I'd imagine it's not very stable if that's the case

He needs custom firmware. Userland homebrew doesn't have the proper access.

If you only have HomeBrew with OOTHAX it's easier to just use PKHeX with a dumped save anyway with FTBrony.
