I've never really felt the need for introductions on a forum, but what the hey?

I'm Goemon_guy, I enjoy hacking Wii, and just playing video games in general.
I mostly enjoy playing retro games, which include, but are not limited to the Final Fantasy series, (I-VI only.)
the Mother series, and RPGs in general. I'm also rather fond of platforming games like Mario, Sonic, and
others like Zelda.

I'm also extremely fond of the Harry Potter series, and have seen the movies more than anyone should. :3

Anyways, I hope that this place is as welcoming as other forums I've been to, and I hope to have
another community to share opinions and such with.

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
