Hey there! I wanted to try trimming the file to make it compatible with my EZ Flash as well, but I'm honestly have no idea how to use the HxD app. Would you be able to help me as well? And by that I mean, how do I go about finding 0x1FFFFFF?
So what i did was use HxD to open the patched rom file. Sterophonick was right when they said that for a 32MB file usable data usually ends at hex address 0x1FFFFFF, but I believe that the patching process alters the data to such an extent that this address does not exist within the file. However, address 0x1FFFFF0 does exist within the file, and after a little research (but don't quote me on this) I believe that in some cases 0xFFFFF denotes the last address of usable data, so what I did was trim the file after address 0x1FFFFF0 and the rom works perfectly fine on the EzFO now.
The tl;dr is: Hex address 0x1FFFFFF does not exist, so delete the stuff after 0x1FFFFF0 using HxD and it should work fine.
