Gaming Help me understand regions.

So I just modded my 2DS after using a cart. used the 3ds guides site and did the soundhax method. Used godmode9 and fbi to install a couple of games.

So I see games that are EUROPE but seem to have English language. Will these run on my 2DS? I thought you could only use USA region games or do the hacks remove that limitation?

Don't want to waste a lot of time downloading stuff that won't work.

I don't think the 3ds is region free normally, but hacking it bypasses that restriction You should be good to go.

I put a EUR game on my USA 2DS and it worked, so the hacking does remove the region lock. Thanks.
