As you guys recall, I'm trying to replace the lovely little capacitor indicated in the screenshot from original post.
After some sleepless hours of research and asking away, I'm going to stipulate and make an educated guess as to what capacitor I'm going to go with in order to populate the pad on the board.
When it comes to Electronics, have in mind I'm just an average Joe with a cheap ass multimeter that can't measure capacitors.
* First thing I got out of the way is the Voltage. Powered on my Switch and measured it on the pads my new cap is going to sit on. It's rated 1.26 to 1.27VDC. Since I'm going to expose the new cap to it, I'm banking on 6.3V so that it can tolerate that;
* Secondly, the type. I guess X5R would be just fine, but I concluded it's less stable than X7R, while not being as expensive as C0G. So X7R it is;
* As for the size of the cap, it's very very tiny. I grabbed some english sizes. I'm divided, not sure if it is 0402, 0603, or 0805. I guess I'll just grab them and compare each other;
* Finally for the capacitance. I can't measure that, so I'll have to take the risk and ASSUME it's 1uF. Why? Because it's right next to the internal memory chip, if it were closer to the screen panel (or LED Panel) connector, than I'd go for 2.2uF. If you think I should choose 2.2uF just let me know.
