You are very welcome!Thank you very much!! @impeeza
There is no plan yet, because GuliKit's joystick has been optimized many times based on market feedback since its launch. Most of the new products on the market have just been launched to meet the test of the market. If we choose them easily just for profit, this is inconsistent with our philosophy of providing users with the best products and services.Multiple new options appearing for Hall effect sticks, @AKNES any plans to carry other brands? Waiting on the newest k-silver without the fly wire, the 42K0 I have no idea who makes them officially but they feel oddly similar to Gulikits offering. They have no gap and the caps do not come off, so not quite the same.
@AKNES could help you.I’ve now tried every offering available I can obtain in the U.S., I do like the K-Silver offering, customers still prefer GuliKit due to being thoroughly tested and the longest in the market. Interested to see continued developments.
Why you like K-Silver?I’ve now tried every offering available I can obtain in the U.S., I do like the K-Silver offering, customers still prefer GuliKit due to being thoroughly tested and the longest in the market. Interested to see continued developments. So to my understanding there are the 2 JF19 versions, Gulikit, Aolion 42K0, and the K-Silver HALL3D.
They now have it where no fly wire is needed this was a huge part of why I never purchased them. GuliKit was just so much easier without that. They seem to have gotten it to where the edge of the zone is where the stick stops, it’s a minor issue and not something I’ve ever had a customer complain about. Why you like K-Silver?
indeed, have modded a pair of joycons with aknes's ones and actually seldom use them, for the following reasons:They now have it where no fly wire is needed this was a huge part of why I never purchased them. The feel is relatively close to the stock stick, in terms of tension, I think people will like this. While customers like GuliKit I’ve gotten feedback that they don’t feel as good to use overall as original sticks.
GuliKit will always have an advantage, in my opinion. The cap is replaceable, no one has replicated this feature and it’s such a huge issue. GuliKit has worked for over 300+ hours according to some of my customer base, way longer without drift than original sticks. Presentation is also key, GuliKit takes it to the next level by not just throwing sticks in a bag, the packaging and marketing make it a more desired product.
Biggest question is why has GuliKit not gotten this on a store shelf? Microcenter has a small footprint in the U.S. but they carry really horrible branded sticks, generic non Hall effect, this would be such an upgrade. Have you considered putting products on store shelves maybe this was already looked into and not worth it for various reasons.
At one point late last year this was briefly solved I had two pair with really good non slick caps, I know GuliKit can make them. And then all of the sudden I started getting the slick caps again. Jack and his company make a great product. I’ve had a few customers simply return to stock sticks simply due to none of the Hall Effect options offering exactly the same feel. It’s a shame Nintendo will not sell their original sticks.indeed, have modded a pair of joycons with aknes's ones and actually seldom use them, for the following reasons:
1) The tension is too soft
2) joystick-buttons are too soft too (it's a fucking nightmare when they trigger by mistake in the heat of a battle in Zelda games for instance)
3) the coating is not as sticky as the OG ones, so thumbs tend to slide off at the worst moment. I've tried using the covers they provide, They are more of a workaround than an actual solution: they make the joysticks larger, higher, and they tend to slip off anyway (and they are hideous).
I'd like to swap out aknes's HE joysticks for some other thirdparty's HE joysticks that better mimick OG ones. Any advice please?
which is exactly what I did sadly. Fortunately the OG joycons haven't started drifting, yet.. I’ve had a few customers simply return to stock sticks simply due to none of the Hall Effect options offering exactly the same feel. It’s a shame Nintendo will not sell their original sticks.
Much appreciated feedback. Hope it does indeed trickle down into an iteration of their HE joysticks. If they do do so, please ask them to be transparent in their revised product naming, rather than mixing batches silently. It's a nuisance as a customer to have to buy stuff and not be sure what I'm getting. That said, wouldn't be surprised they just let it slide since the switch is approaching EOL...@MightySashiman @G33ksquad
Thank you for your information and suggestions. I have forwarded the message to GuliKit.
I hope they can seriously consider your suggestions and optimize the product. Although it will be difficult to optimize and wait for new batches, I sincerely hope that your suggestions can be implemented.
Thank you very much!

Yes, I will pass on this feedback as well.@AKNES thank you for taking the time to reply this is what sets your company apart from others. GukiKit could always just offer the caps separately as they already do this in packs of 6, also maybe make a ridged version like we are seeing with the JF19 stick, people are really excited about this version.
