Hacking [GW]Gateway emuNAND to A9LH always says WiFi not configured (NN3DS XL)

I've update the gateway card to 4.0b, ive added in the time machine 3ds, i even tried patching it with a valid header, and renaming it to .3dz. I've flipped WiFi off and back on. I've pulled the battery multiple times. I've added in the time machine bin file.

I always get the FATAL ERROR: Please configure WiFi before downgrading

Please help?


And yes, I know you guys don't like the GW method, and I konw why. Just trying to do this this way.

SYsNAND is 9.0, emuNAND is 11.0.0, GW launcher and cards are 4.0b

I got nothing then, but you could downgrade to 2.0 using plailects guide and then install gateway there?

I've already done this on my main nn3dsxl. I just want to use GW's "method" and see what I can see. :\

You will never get any help with the Gateway method on this forum. Anyone with enough experience in it that COULD help you (like alpha/beta testers) will have worked out how horrible it is and will tell you not to do it. And anyone who doesn't have such a strong opinion won't have enough experience to help you. If you insist on screwing up your 3DS with Gateway's a9lh method, then you'll be on your own.

My memory was that you had to be on 10.3 or something to start the downgrade to 2.1. But maybe that changed. I thought you were in the camp of people with not enough experience to help but I'm sorry if that was wrong :-)

That is only the case on o3DS

Multiple NAND backups, even my day1 purchase NAND. No hardmod. If it bricks sysNAND, ill HM when I need to.

as much as you want to do it with this method and you understand how unsafe it is, nobody is probably going to help you with it unfortunately.

as for this "wifi not configured", no one seems to know why this happens I think. I think the 3DSX version did the same.

Are you shure that you have configured wi-fi in sysnand? Even if you have configured wi-fi in emunand, in sysnand wi-fi settings still can be blank.
Try to set up new connection in sysnand, test it and make sure that wi-fi is enabled.
