Hardware Guitar controller compatibility ?

What's the best guitar controller for the Wii? Is there one that will work with all Rock Band AND Guitar Hero games?

.....plus the recent releases (Lego, Band Hero GH5 et al) will run any of the GH or RB instruments.... personally I think the GH guitar feels a bit more precise, but will happily use the RB one.... guess it's a case of which is the cheapest really!

From that link, it looks like I'd need a Guitar Hero World Tour or GH5 guitar.
