is there a guide for dual partitions of FAT and WBFS for a USB drive?

You can create partition with gParted, create FAT32 partition.

Then, on Windows, you can use the soft I create wbfsGUI v13. It manage partitions that Windows don't see

Give me feedback

can I use Windows XP to partition the FAT part then use WBFS Manager 3.0 to partition WBFS part?

I much prefer paragon (although you will need use the free version or find a full copy somewhere)
It doesn't need to reboot, works on x64 and reads more drive types (internal sd readers etc.)

windows do not manage USB with more than one partition, and wbfs manager do not manage usb drive with more than one partition

create dual partition with the application you want, on linux you can do what you want to read them, but on windows there is not much tool

the wbfsGUI I suggest is like wbfs Manager and it's just 50kB to download

you can have source at my website wbfsGUI

c:\wbfs>wbfs_win.exe I init
wbfs windows port build 'delta'
! ! ! warning ALL data on drive 'I' will be lost irretrieveably ! ! !
Are you sure? (y/n):

When i'm asked this whilst trying to initialize drive I:, will this be formatting just the drive I: partition or all of my HDD?

I wanted to make the disc work for USB loader and MPlayer but it won't work.

If you have a single partition only using WBFS it wont work for you. the WBFS is a seperate filesystem and is not compatible with anything beside the usb loader and it's utilities.

Under geexbox my external usb drive(s) work and it saw every fat32/ntfs partition.

I have a 64-bit computer, so I can't use that program. Does anyone know of one that will work for me?

Hey guys, I'm a little confused.
if I understand correctly, once I start up the program, I choose my External hard drive from the list and choose the resize/move option. But the little chart thing that comes up is what confuses me.
could anyone explain exactly what to do here?
and of course, I don't want to lose the data I have saved on it already, since apparently I can do this without it erasing everything.

Anybody?
I'd kinda like to do this soon...
I'll be going out of town for the whole month of september and I'd like to have a USB loader running on my Wii so I can just take my external hard drive instead of all of my games.
Please help!

Uhh I got stuck on step 13... yah I opened cmd and know how to navigate, (if cd C:\Documents and Settings\ so forth and so forth, means navigating lol) so, you download wbfsTOOL v14, and run it using cmd, right? Well, I did that, it showed some text after that, no errors just stuff that was supposed to happen... I think i did the initialization with the correct drive letter (the one that i wanted to be a wbfs partition) and everything looked nice, I closed cmd, and went to My Computer, click on the drive and wtf, its not formatted as WBFS. ?!?!?!? Help?
