SO SOMEBODY CAME UP WITH THIS FOR THE EASTER EVENT. WORKED GREAT FOR ME BUT THERE WAS A LOT OF UNNECESSARY FILES AND STEPS INCLUDED SO I MADE IT SIMPLE/NOOB FRIENDLY. SHARING FOR EVERYONE ELSE. HAVEN'T SEEN IT ON HERE YET SO DELETE IF DOUBLE POSTED. ENJOY.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEE FOR GOD SAKE BACKUP YOUR SAVE FILE BEFORE CONTINUING. I DONT HOLD RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOST OF SAVE DATA

HOW TO BACKUP SAVE: IN JKSV, SELECT DEVICE THEN ACNH THEN CREATE A NEW FILE, NAME IT THEN FINALLY BACKUP

GUIDE ​

• UPDATE TO V1.1.1 (WORKS WITH v1.2)
• PUT JKSV.NRO IN SWITCH FOLDER. "OPTIONAL" INSTALL JKSV.NSP.
• RUN JKSV HOLDING [R] SXOS.
• SELECT BCAT
• BACKUP ACNH BCAT [CREAT NEW & NAME FILE) BACKUP WILL BE ON ROOT OF SD CARD (JKSV FOLDER)
• COPY "JKSV" FOLDER TO PC/LAPTOP
• MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF ORIGINALS
• COPY THE "DIRECTORIES" FOLDER TO YOUR BCAT FOLDER WITHIN "JKSV".
• BACK ON YOUR SWITCH
• SELECT BCAT - ANIMAL CROSSING - FILE YOU NAMED
• RESTORE THE BCAT.
• RESTART.
• JOB DONE

GAME SHOULD NOW SAY VER 1.1.1a

NOT SURE IF THIS IS NEEDED BUT I HEAR REPORTS THAT YOUR SYSTEM NEEDS TO HAVE A LINKED ACCOUNT AND/OR THE SYSTEM TIME NEEDS TO BE SYNCED BY THE INTERNET

I cant get my switch to make backup of the bcat file? what am i doing wrong? i select new but nothing happens?

At least with SX OS, you need to start a game while holding R to access the extended homemenu execution while running JKSV, else nothing happens when selecting "New".

its a timed event so should stop by it self or they might release another update

Excuse me but when I am on JKSV to do the backup I only see the voice "new", is this correct? I click on "new" and a screen appears, I name this folder "backup" but I don't see it in the main root of the sd card. I see this folder in JKSV folder...
