Hacking Golden Sun Dark Dawn AR Codes Help Requested (R4 +)

Hi guys. I have a question about the US version of Golden Sun: Dark Dawn and AR codes on R4 + DS/3DS Card. For the AR code "Max Stats (Press Select)", the stats for each character reset after each battle, and I have to press Select each time I want max stats for the characters. I was wondering if there was a way to make stats stick, like remove the Select button trigger? Here is the code in question:
