The contest promoted by GBAX and GBAEMU involving GBA and GP32 programmers is just ended!
A total of 55 entries for this competition is an amazing result! The contestants were asked to program a game or an emulator, and we may see now their hard work!
You can find the winners and contestants on the official page: HERE
Those are some of the most interesting entries:
The winner :a platform called Wonkie Guy, then a Sega Master System Emulator, a GB mono Emulator and finally a PC engine emulator.

ehhe I am downloadind some of the games just as you posted this hehe.

I hope The GB MONO emu works on a flashcard!

*crosses fingers*

Doubt it though.
I haven't tested it on a flash card but the emulator is still in early stages. The roms don't work at correct speed and the compatibility is very low. But it's an excellent start! The SMS emulator is almost perfect on some games (including sonic 1 and 2!). The results of this competition are great!

I tested the gb and sms emu, on my flash card, and they work fine.
i tested the gb emu with waverace, on text mode, and it ran VERY slow, and with glitches, then i tested on super hack (or something like that), and it ran at 99/100% speed , still with the glitches, but very playable.
Teste sms emu with sonic 1 and 2, streets of rage, and some others, and they worked very fine. some graphical glitches, but nothing big.
Great work on both. they are in very early dev stage, but they are on the good way.
tkx, and keep up the good work ppl.

yay, Metroid 2 works. And best of all, it's nearly perfect. The only thing is that enemy sprites flash a little when you move, but it's not the big of a problem.

EDIT: Maybe it's not so perfect now

. Sometimes when changing screens i'll get an error and i'll have to restart. Oh well, it's a great start though

I'm not a starter, I have made GBA games in more than a year!
Well in that case, I can see now why you didn't get first place.

Just kidding, what I actually meant is that your game have made a good start.
Ok, thanks for letting me know

I'll rewrite whole Klan Wars some day to improve some of the stuff inside it, and i'll learn some AI (When there was 3 hours left of the compo I realized that I couldn't do any AI at all

it whups that other emu and it's only on its first release. It just needs some bugs removed and color support and I'll be a happy man
