In fact we already had awards, but only in the staff forum.
We have had them every 6 months but have decided to keep the results for ourselves!

dice got an award in 2005 (2nd semester) for "ugliest avatar of the year", that's why he hasn't had one since then.
other than that I don't think we can tell you the results!

I was thinking about asking about this. Why not have these again? It was fun to vote for members who you thought were the most exemplary in certain categories. It's like senior year in high school, when they let you select people for similar categories from your class. (Which, by the way, happened yesterday for my class.)

Maybe the prevailing argument against this, is that there's not enough non-noobs to drum up a serious competition..
..though I'd disagree, and add that there's people like tama_mog that deserve a little recognition for all the help they've dispensed.

..but, meh, whatever the big-boys wanna do... Still, I like the idea, and maybe us noobs could even drum up a little something ourselves..
..who knows..
