I see a bunch of files, Which file do i put it inside of?

I have put the it outside all by itself. If thats the root, then i believe its in the right place.

its not working. I have done that like 5 times already, its not working. If the root is putting a file all by itself, then i have done it correctly the first time.

I have done what you said, by holding R button, its not working.

It freezes every time.

Any success with Lady Sia ?
Somewhere (on a spanish site) I saw, that it worked perfectly with 1.67 firmware. It was also said, that newer firmwares are more Nintendo DS orientated, 1.67 is more GBA orientaded.
Did anyone try if this is correct ?
Where can I get the 1.67 firmware for EZ Flash IV, so I can try myself ?
Thanks
Andrej

There were occasions to use more GBA centric/pre DS firmwares and clients for the EZ1 through EZ3 but aside from the border glitch (hence the reset loader we suggest) on the DS side of things which would not trouble actually working and does not apply to the GBA things tended to get better with the EZ4.

Still any number of old versions of the kernel and client should be available from
http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/flashcart-files/download-ez4-firmware-2007-03-15-f226.html
and
http://ezflash.sosuke.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=719
also
http://ezflash.sosuke.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=793 (some of the oldest links are down but many are still there)

It is not the first time I have seen Lady Sia pop up in the last few weeks and although I always thought it ran OK it does warrant a further look.

For my nes games, i have EZclientapril2009 application and i love the program, kid ice and many others on this board helped me set it up. Is there a newer version of Ezclientapril2009?

For my gba sp games, i don't have any applications set up. What are the important applications i need to have for my gba sp games? All my games are in two folders, and that's it. I think i need to start from the beginning. Is there an application that has a menu like EZClient that would allow me to run my gba sp games?

http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/flashcart-files/download-ez4-client-2009-04-03-f4753.html is the main EZ4 pack. I do not recall bundling a single thing for the NES in that though; it was mainly some name update tools, different languages for the client, a couple of guides and DS homebrew tools (DLDI patches and such). The pack itself does have a patch update (for DS games) the EZTeam issued but most of that was putting together what was at the time a good collection of tools.
That is what should also do GBA games for you. Aside from the super Mario games which require the 8:3 names (I forgot to change the list to reflect it) and a handful of other games that also want 8:3 as well as the likes of some pokemon games (RTC patch), Warioware twisted/Yoshi's Universal Gravitation (rotation patch), boktai (solar and RTC), dragon ball Z (AP patches needed) and classic nes/famicom mini (more AP but just use an emulator instead) it should do for all GBA games. Sometimes with certain combinations of game and stuff EZ4client does fail to work but http://www.no-intro.org/tools.htm (GBATA) usually saves the day then. There are a few other things I have seen over the years but let us not bog down proceedings right now.

Bundled with it is the version of the loader known as the modulo reset hacked loader (it is the ezfla_up.bin with that) which dodged a bug with the later versions of the loader in DS mode (border frameskip bug). Some dropped that in favour of a slightly older version (one that does not support the lite deluxe and lite compact but without the bug) which you can get from http://www.ezflash.cn/zip/EZ4loader060726.zip .

EZClient (the old EZ1 and EZ2 program) had a pocketnes frontend (quite a nice one that I will often use in general) but that is a different matter.

i downloaded

http://ezflash.sosuk...Loader060726.7z

then i unzipped the file into my computer and then put ezfla_up.bin file my ez-flash card 4. I then tried to play the games that weren't playing previously, and the games still don't play.

Did you put the zipped and unzipped file on your ez-flashcard 4 or did you ONLY put the zipped file onto your ez-flashcard4?

Did you do anything else after you put the ezfla-up.bin on your ez-flashcard?

I even clicked on the ezfla_up file and i saw progression and pressed on R while it was progressing, this time it went up to 101 percent progression and then the part of the gba sp screen goes purple and neon green.

you have to press r while the gba is booting up

I got it to work but some games are working now and some games are not working. I made some progress

Here are the games that are working now.

super mario advance 3,TMNT 1 and 2, Street fighter 2, scorpion king.

Here are the games that are NOT working

super mario advance 2, 4( for the mario 2 and 4. It says, "your saved date is corrupted")
Lady Sia,, super robot taisen 1 and 2, ninja five 0. (For the rest of the games that are not working, i only see a white or black blank screen).

I didn't understand you because i thought you wanted me to click on R after i clicked on ezfla_up.bin file and i would press R while it was progressing. I didn't know i was suppose to press R while gba was booting up.Thanks

Now i have to figure out how to make the other games work, i am almost there. At least i got half the games to work now.
