Genre: Any except sports
Exceptions: Fast-paced games. Touch screen only games (not including games with control schemes that include both buttons and touch).
Other Additional Info: My left arm is broken and I don't always have access to a flat enough surface to put the DS on and play games with, so entirely one-handed games are preferred.
Super Scribblenauts is very text-dependent, but it would be appropriate as it's only dependent in the sense that it requires you to input names of objects. Bomberman would also be appropriate, as it has little to no text in game beyond the menus.
Big Bang Mini might be a good game, as well as WarioWare: Touched! and New Super Mario Bros., as all three of these games have little text except for WarioWare...which you have to be able to read fast or be able to understand a minigame in a short amount of time (or both). However, I still find it acceptable because it's really easy to get into anyway.

Mystery Dungeon games may be acceptable, but have a surprising amount of text during cutscenes. Do a test run with him, to see if he can at least figure out where to go after a cutscene ends.Genre Games suited for a 7 year old
Exceptions text heavy games, as my nephew is just learning to read
Other additional info I was thinking of Super Scribblenauts and maybe a Bomberman game so far. We once played a Bomberman game and he really liked that. Which other games would you recommend for a 7 year old?
Edit: What about Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky? Or might that be too text dependent? Never played one of these.
