1. Download Yoshihiro's Decrypter
2. Unrar it
3. Copy the files in the PSP/GAME/ folder
4. Pick a ISO file
5. Download UMDGEN
6. Open your ISO with UMDGEN and browse to PSP_GAME/SYSDIR
7. Right click to EBOOT.BIN
8. Extract it somewhere
9. Copy it to the root of your memory stick
10. Unplug the PSP and load Yoshihiro's Decrypter
11. Press X and wait a few seconds
12. When the PSP has restarted, re-plug the USB cable and connect it to your PC
13. In your memory stick root, there should be a new folder called "DECRYPTOR", and inside it there should be a file called EBOOT.BIN. Take it and copy it somewhere safe. Do not mix it with the EBOOT.BIN you previously extracted from the ISO.
14. Open UMDGEN again, load again your ISO, go again to PSP_GAME/SYSDIR, right-click EBOOT.BIN and select delete
15. Right-click somewhere in the SYSDIR folder and choose Add -> Existing File(s)..., and browse to the EBOOT.BIN you found in the DECRYPTOR folder
16. Click the "Save" button in the toolbar, select "Uncompressed (*.iso)", name it and wait a few minutes.
17. Copy the newly-created .iso file into the ISO folder of your PSP
18. Unplug and start it. It should work. If it doesn't, try updating your custom firmware and/or changing drivers (this can be done by pressing select and by scrolling to the "UMD ISO MODE" voice. If the menu doesn't show up, power off your PSP, keep the R trigger pressed and power it on again. A recovery menu should appear. Go to Configuration, and look for the voice "Use VshMenu". Change its parameter to "VSHMENU", then go back and reboot the PSP. Now the menu should appear. Try changing the drivers, it may work. If it doesn't, just pray that someone smarter than us comes up with a solution.

EDIT: Damn it, djricekcn, you beat me to it.

this is kinda offtopic, but does anyone know how to boot 5.03 gen after uninstalling CFE 3.60? I want to test with it, but it won't load.

Well, I got Persona [US] to work on my 5.50GEN-B PSP 1000

I needed to add an extra step in the rebuild of the ISO

Load the Clean ISO. Go to File>File List>Export

Save it as Filelist.txt

Replace the EBOOT.BIN

Go to File>File List>Import

Choose Filelist.txt

Select YES to forcing LBAs, then Save.

Game should run fine

I believe the issue is all the LBAs get reset when you drag the new EBOOT in which gives a black screen. May want to redo all the games we've reported as failed.

I'm grabbing the US GT now. Should be done in an hour.

In the meantime, I'll try out NRL Challenge.

I can confirm that Rugby League Challenge EUR is working on a PSP 2000, with Gen B and M33 driver.

Edit: Wow, wish it didn't work lol.

Confirmed working with Persona (U). Using 2000 PSP, GEN B2, M33 Driver
Edit: M33 Driver only showed opening, blank screen after. Sony driver seems to work fine.

When mine would blackscreen, they never returned to XMB. I was using Sonys ISO Mode, various plugins, and with no UMD. My Version.txt file was active and set to 6.00 (I did this so I could use Media GO to download PSN games).

I haven't tried Naruto but I'm seeing it reported as working here: http://www.pspgen.com/forums/post1890223.html#p1890223
That's the comment section of the release source. (Marche means Works)

Game doesn't boot. As soon as I start the game I get a black screen. Anyone gotten this to work on M33?

*edit* I used the filelist.txt method and it still didn't work.

The Filelist.txt method seems to work for everything so there might be no point in updating this thread anymore? If anyone has other results, please report other wise

1)Make sure you're on 5.50 Gen B2
2)Make sure that you're working with an ISO format, not CSO
3)Use the Filelist.txt (refer to the first post among others)

It also appears that it doesn't matter what PSP you're using, long as you're running 5.50 GEN B2
