i believe the wii reads discs at 6x speed, burning at 2x speed is not going to help the matter at all, most blank media can support fast speeds so take advantage of it, i always burn my media at 6x i think you should give it a try too.

@ jalaneme: No you are wrong, you're supposed to burn at 2x if possible, otherwise 4x.

Wii discs read at 6x. Backups and Gamecube discs read at 3x.
Therefore, the Wii can't access the video fast enough.

Switch to a USB Loader. You don't waste money on discs, plus it can hold 100's or even 1000's of games, AND it reads at 12x+.

So if 2x or 4x isn't fast enough for wii to read the videos... Then surely what the first guy said about burning at 6x is good?

I always thought though that if burnt too fast, the wii has a tendacy to skip n jump data when reading... So slower speeds the better.

Have either of you done any that include videos like music videos and they don't jump?

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
