Finally~

Well I have basicaly been thinking of this for hours of days of weeks and months even,
and I have finally mustered up the courage and strength to say, I am gay.
Yes I know this is the internet and hardley anyone cares and would probally say, we dont care
or saying it online is easy, well maybe for some but for me right now writing this is making me shake,
I love this community like a family and for me to say this here is like saying it to my family.
I havnt told anyone about it in my family yet but right now even though Im scared of what you might reply to this,
Im really releved as it were, I feel a sort of weight of my back.
Now you might be half way about to write, "good for you, we care why?" or something along those lines,
but quite honestly this is for me to finally be true to myself and feel good about myself.
And please Im pretty fragile right now, Please be thoughtfull and not thoughtless.

While it's my hope that in the not too distant future, coming out will universally be a "so what" inducing event, that day hasn't arrived. So, good for you. Good luck with your family, and be patient, some people take a little while to come around to the concept, but that doesn't mean that they won't.

I see that you are 17 on your profile so don't tell your mates, not even your closest friends. There was a guy at my school who came out and people started avoiding him, I'm not an expert by any means but people will start rumours, not wanting to party etc

I remember when I told that I was gay, my mother was pretty much quiet, she was shocked. My father was stupid by saying this: YEAH I did know this for years! WTH?! You could not know that

Then my father asked if I fell in love with a certain person and he was fucking right...

*sigh* it is getting hot here ya know!

Also half of my family does not know anything yet. Including my grand parents. I don't want to shock them
