Like you go to the store buy a micro-sd card & it’s????
Not a SD card? Just take it back. Am I missing your point?
Or are you talking about the fake Supercards mini-SD?

There is no such thing as a 'fake' micro-sd card as Micro-SD is a generally open format and any flash maker can generally make them.

But...I believe there could be a few but not many because Micro-SD is not as profitable as Memory Sticks.

ok, sorry let me rephrase that.

Micro SD cards with brand name logos on them, but are not really that brand.

For example:

Sony memory stick duos that you find on ebay that are not real Sonys.
