I have a flash 2 advance ultra 128MB, with the cable, all in good condition (including battery). I'm thinking of selling it. How much is it worth?

How much would you pay for a Game Boy bridge (USD)? Never used, in box.

Used only a couple of times. Still in box. This device lets you backup and restore save files from Game Boy Advance games (can be used with a flash cart to transfer saves from your retail carts).

By 128 MB I assume you mean megabytes, or 1024Mbit/1Gbit -- as far as I am aware there was not a 128Mbit model but hey. Equally I assume you have all the relevant cables in working order.

What state is the battery in? 11-15 years powering SRAM and a real time clock is quite the feat.

Anyway assuming perfect working order... I am not actually sure. There may be someone out there that really wants one but I would be sort of surprised to see you get more than $100 US.

Yes I have the cable and it all works fine, except I haven't checked the battery. I will report back. It says on the cart 128M which I assumed was 128MB. It's about 10 years old I guess.

I suppose even if it needs a new battery that wouldn't be hard to replace.

I didn't even bother looking at eBay. Due to their strict rules for devices, in my experience, normally take down region free stuff, let alone backup devices.

Is a lack of RTC such a big con?

Anyway I merged the F2A and GB Bridge threads, if only because the same people will probably be answering both. If you have a title you would prefer then please say and I will change it.

The GB Bridge possibly changes things a bit. Prior to the likes of the everdrive GB it would probably have represented the better (if slightly more clunky) way of having a GB/GBC flash cart, even with the everdrive it would still be competitive. I do not feel a particular need to collect flash carts/modding gear but a GB Bridge would make me perk up. I doubt it would start a bidding war but I would be shocked if you can not find someone willing to take it off your hands for sensible money.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ok yes they were both made by Rare, but DK was from Rare back then, Rare now is owned by MS. So makes since.
