When I load up a Classic NES Series game, like Super Mario Bros or Pac-Man, they load fine, but the buttons don't seem to work properly.
Trying to control anything in the game results in the inputs *sometimes* working, but not being able to be held in.

The L+R button menu works fine, and with it you can connect with a different GBA using for example the Wireless Adapter.
What is interesting about this is that the P1 button inputs (the gameboy running the ezflash) are properly reflected on the P2's screen, but not on its own. This causes massive desyncs.

I've tested this on both an AGB-001 and AGS-001, and the effect seems to be the same. I'm not sure if this affects NES games other than the two mentioned.

Version info: FW:4 K:1.03

I forgot to add the [Hacking] tag to the thread. If any mod reads this, can they fix it? (and delete this message)

I do not have an EZFlash Omega Definitive Edition, only a regular Omega. I know that the clean, unpatched Classic NES titles matching the No-Intro database work withou issues on the Omega.

I do recall that the EZ-Flash Team missed the AP (Anti Piracy) patching in one of the earlier kernels/firmware:

Maybe you're using an older Kernel/Firmware? Or maybe the issue was not yet fixed (forgotten) by the team?

This does indeed appear to be an issue on Kernel 1.03 and firmware 4.0:

In my honest opinion, there is absolutely no reason to try to play the officially-released Nintendo "Classic NES Series" games.

PocketNES does everything better. Better scaling options, better save management, etc.

I have no interest in those particular games and I agree that the series isn't the best way to play those NES titles (original hardware or FPGA device is, in my view), but this does raise some concerns about the EZ-Flash Omega DE's overall compatibility with GBA titles, does it not? Is it, or is not supposed to support GBA titles? That is what we are talking about here.

I would agree that yes it does. I'm not trying to argue against that.

Merely stating that in general, PocketNES will tend to be more enjoyable to play; that's all.

In my honest opinion, I don't like people telling me I shouldn't do what I'm trying to do because "there's a better way". More often than not it's not very helpful. A bug is a bug, I'm just reporting it in hopes it'll get fixed.
But since you mentioned it, these are the only titles that support multiboot/download play with the wireless adapter. It's interesting to mess around with at least.

@nk64dd @El_Syd thanks a ton for confirming the issue. Glad to know it's not my consoles or specific cartridge.
