I'd vote for Atelier Rorona, but I didn't play it much. (don't have my PS3 yet >_>) It's as good as the PS2 Alchemy Project series (Atelier/Mana Khemia)... If you've played these, it's definitely worth a shot.

Nier (or Nier Replicant in Japan) has to be one of my all time favorites on the PS3 taking place long before the popular title on PS4 called Nier Automata and also links up with the insane Drakengard series made on both PS2 and PS3
