Since there is some homebrew out for the ps3, I thought I would make a essentials list on homebrew.

You can't exactly call backup managers hombrew. With that, here's my list:

VBA-PS3 v0.9.9 for 3.55
Mednafen Multi-System Emulator for 3.55
SNES9x PS3 v4.4.6 - Super Nintendo Emulator
Gambatte GB/GBC Emulator Release 2
Nestopia (NES) Emulator Release 2
PS3SX Pre-Release
Awesome Filemanager v0.06

@Sheaperd121, if you manage to make this list good enough, I'll link it in the softmod sticky.

If you include managers and emulators, I suggest you create different categories in your first post, for people not familiar with PS3 scene yet, so they can quickly see what type of homebrew they are.
or add a color indication, like [game] [emulator], etc. on each item's line.

Emulators*
Games*
Tools and utilities
Dev blind (v1.1)
Comgenie's Awesome File Manager (v0.6)
BlackB0x FTP

Game Managers
Gaia Manager (v1.04.1 for 3.41 and 3.55), newer version are only for 3.55
Multiman

*PS : I think there's not a lot of homebrew/emu/games for the moment, we could create another topic to reference them all so other users can see what has been made so far?
Too bad there's no screen capturer plugin yet. a prx plugin for PS3 would be great

Second Multiman (+BDEMU pkg), but also Gaia Manager, as sometimes there are some games you need to backup with Gaia before they'll play correctly. Not often, but given the relatively small size of the pkg's, this shouldn't be a problem.

Wipe History is a must if you intend on playing online. And currently, might as well get rebug's spoofer installed too (which currently ONLY works on 3.55, anyway).

dev_blind is a good utlity, particularly if you need to resort to using f*ckPSN at any point. The spoofer might not need it, but it's worth keeping note in case it's needed again.

Still looking for something that will emulate Neo Geo though. Supposedly FBA-Next is supposed to be able to do it, but even when I put the roms in \FBANext-ROMS\ on my USB Flash drive, it insists that they do not exist. So I don't know what its problem is.
