Hacking Emunand works with 7.0 Sysnand but...

Hello guy,

So i wanted to download 7.0 update for analysis.
My switch update, without i can't download the update on my computer the way i want.

My emunand was on 6.01 and i was surprise , it s working.
I update my Emunand in 6.1 , it s working too
I update again in Emunand in 6.2, and its don't work.

With my biskkey dump, i download the 7.0 update in System partition.

So if you want Emunand working with 7.0, just downgrade you emunand under 6.2

So i continue my test, and the problem maybe come from CFW SX OS source code.

I downgrade my Sysnand to 6.01 > then i upgrade to 6.2
When i try to boot , i got a black screen.

I thought it was a new mesure anti downgrade from nintendo but it wasn't.
I try to boot with Atmosphère CFW and that work !

So it s maybe an anti-measure SX OS, or default in coding firmware.

Firmare 6.2 introduced the TSEC protection which got updated on 7.0.0 so it makes sense 6.0.1 works as it didn't used TSEC. Thanks for the info. Might set up a temporal workaround until a 7.0.0 update for cfw is released.

Explain me why SX OS support Sysnand in 6.2 , and why i got a black screen after i put my sysnand in 6.2 ?
With atmosphere after i go back in 6.2 , i can launch the system.

Not sure. Did you try to boot sxos 6.2 sysnand a couple of times? It rarely does not work on the first try.

Keys os TSEC are updates with the 7.0.0

Atmosphere gets those Keys from TSEC... SXOS seems that has the Keys in its code so 6.2.0 doesn't work in sxos because the kays are now different.

Exactly! SXOS hardcoded it (coding mistake?) while Atmosphere circumvents it (more flexibility).

You can flash your emunand into sysnand (nand backup restore), downgrade to 6.1.0 with atmosphere and choidujournx and create your 6.1.0 emunand again.

Backup your 7.0.0 first.

haha same bro, i made a post a bit ago... I still have working emunand though lol

i downgrade to 6.1 and still i'm not able to boot sx os

just to update this, after downgrading with choidujour to 6.1 i wasn't able to boot sx os, so i had to downgrade again but in this time with atmosphere and choidujourNX to 6.0 so this time it booted.

Edit:
Updating this again to 6.1 with choidujournx and still booting sx os, i would recommend downgrading to 6.0, now i'm gonna create emunand on 6.1 and restore my 7.0 nand backup to see what happend. (i know this take a lot of time, and i have it)
