Hacking Emulator Questions

First I would like to say I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong area.

My question is this. I've seen videos on YouTube and such of JTAG/R-Jtag machines with FreeStyle Dash 3.X where the user has it setup where it shows the box cover art to for example NES or SNES games. Then they just select which game they want from FreeStyle Dash. Then it plays. I can already do this for my XBox and XBox 360 games. I also have DashLaunch and couple other things in HomeBrew. How would I go about setting it up to display NES, SNES and other emulated systems cover arts?

Depends on the emulator if they support it.

So how do I know if my emulators support it?

Google should be able to tell it.
Usually the developers will tell you how to add covers etc in the description.
