Homebrew DVD Read Error 345

Hi, I think the GC Backup Launcher Theta is working, but I get DVD error 345. Is it just a bad DVD? It's a Maxell DVD-R 1-16x Speed 4.7 GB Single Sided Recordable. I used ImgBurn and in the settings and disabled that Burn-PROOF thing, this guide told me to....should I re-enable that? One DVD I tried at 3x Speed and one at 4x Speed, but ImgBurn tells me that 1x, 4x and 16x are the only available speeds. I'm running low on the Maxells so I'm getting new DVDs soon. Should I get Verbatim? I've heard those were good. Thanks in advance.
