Hardware Do replacement Game Boy Micro housings exist?

My friend has a very beaten-up GBM that he wants to get rid of, and I'd probably buy it if I could replace the case, but a quick search doesn't turn much of anything up. Anyone here ever come across one?

nope, time to buy another one.

actually, just buy one off ebay, if it is in good condition and/or doesn't work would likely be your best place for a replacement housing. canabalized it for parts.

I agree. A new one is cheaper on eBay...I'd know cause I had to buy an expensive one just to get it shipped to my area over the ones that were so cheap and it was only within the states

Describe "very beaten-up"... is it scratched? Cracked? Obliterated beyond recognition?

Very scuffed-up with some deep scratches in places.

If it ain't broken, don't fix it. Get some displex, polish the screen, perhaps give it a paintjob and that's it, really. If there are no cracks, there's no need for a new case.
