Hacking do i need to downgrade again?

Hi guys, I saw a few people saying they didn't get a full downgrade and I am wondering if I got this msg after downgrading means it didn't do a the full job(it didn't seem to install a lot of files but I could be wrong):

lol, I don't have a problem booting I just want to know how do I know I did a full downgrade?

already did the sd thing and the FW showed 9.2 and everything

if your getting that w/ only the SD in you likely had Menuhax,

I do not think you had a full downgrade, the same thing happened to me mid-dg. Try booting rxTools/PastaCFW/Gateway and let us know how it works (if it even works at all)

I would re-update to 10.3 and do the painstaking downgrade process another 270 times to get it to downgrade again. But if it boots CFW and whatnot i guess there isnt much a point unless you really need to clean some files (in which case you can actually do if you have access to sig-patches)

Oh, the downgrade-check is useless. If your downgrade screwed up in the slightest way it will report success but you won't be able to setup any CFW

Wasn't a clean downgrade unfortunately.
Method would be update, then try again.
But unfortunately 10.4 is out now...
So unless you have a hardmod

can't I just use sysupdater on my false 9.2? or us sysupdater to update to 10.3?

You could try that or use the 9.0 update.

nice thought, which sysupdater should I use? tried to use the ones from the downgrade thread and i have a really hard time, so many times I've tried to reboot and run it but it didn't run even once

Couldn't you also use a game cart that has an update on it in order to update to a newer firmware below 10.4? Smash Brothers comes with 9.5.

You could insert that I think, allow it to update, then re-attempt the downgrade progress again.

This does assume however you own any physical game carts with a firmware update higher than 9.2. It might be a bit safer than using SysUpdate again.

I tried to downgrade to 9.0 as you said but it still shows 9.2(when I checked the files in the SafeSysUpdater he said it was 9.2 too, although I am sure 100% I downloaded the 9.0 FW files) any ideas why that is?

also I tried the downgrade check again and now its positive, does it mean I can use cfw now?

9.0 and 9.2 are very similar I think a 2-3 file difference my guess is it repaired 9.2 I would try opening the recovery menu if you can dont update, do a system format and see if everything is running smoothly first then try setting up CFW.
