Hacking Datel Powersaves now supports Pokemon X/Y

Is this anything like the old Action Replay where you could hack in Pokemon? I kind of want one of these for my Pokemon X/Y just to get back a Pokemon I really love having. Just to get this clear though, people in this topic have tried this device with their copy of Pokemon, and it didn't work?

To be clear, we have gotten as far as editing saves, but not beyond this, correct (cannot flash them back onto the cart)?

If we can calculate the AES_MAC & XorPad, then we can edit any save and flash it back to the cart.
Well Gateway saves will not be possible, because you need the cart unique keys which are lost in dumped roms. (Maybe they use a fixed key?)

I tried this since I have the Powersaves device. Put game in (Pokemon X US Version), says checking for codes/saves, says no hardware found, auto quits.

Then after that comment, there are a few more complaints. I was just wondering if anyone got it working, I don't feel like going through 171 pages of comments.

There are dozens of users here that used the Powersaves device with their game. Its safe to say it works and its legit.

- find XorPad algo
if these things are done, then i'm able to edit any 3DS save without Datel's help and without a 3DS Farm...

but are the AES_MAC and XorPad part hard/possible to find? good work anyway!

Unfortunately I am not well versed enough in coding to understand too much of what you said. I do, however, only run retail carts. I will wait for those far more clever than me to find a solution to this.

Buy one. They are not that expensive. If you can find an original one cheaper than a Pro one, buy the original. They are identical (even Datel has officially admitted this.)

The legit event Magmar lacks the ribbon, while Electabuzz has it.

I think it might be because they are hacked in so easy so they don't want you doing that totally fair trade of an arceus for a regular rattata on GTS
