Homebrew Custom Theme Music playing out of left side only

It's entirely too late for me to be posting this.
I'm making a pretty simple Spongebob theme for my 3DS and really wanted some matching music for it. First, in Audacity, I converted it to a mono by spiting it with the Split Stereo to Mono option, deleted one of the channels, and exported it as a WAV. To shrink it to 2.8 mb, I changed the sample rate to 16000 and exported it once again. I tested it and it played fine through both ears. Secondly, I used the BrawlLib BRSTM converters Simple WAV > BRSTM option and clicked OK. Tested it through Brawlbox, and it was fine once again. Next, I used LoopingAudioConverter and made a BCSTM file. Tested it through Usagi, and AGAIN it played fine. But for some god forsaken reason, whenever I install it on the 3DS, I'm only getting left ear audio. Was I a stupid dummy who missed something? Probably. Is there a better toolkit out there? Can anyone help? It'd be very appreciated.

Well, that guide didn't help very much BUT I figured it out anyways. All I had to do was resample a regular MP3 down to 22050, run it through BrawlLib, and then once more through LoopingAudioConverter. Thanks for the thought tho!
