Cooler89 said:Just an idea Forsaken you might want to do a beta test before you release it, Give to beta testers to see if they see any problems, or things that should be fixed how we did with backup launcher just an idea
linkinworm said:be cool to be able to test this, but just cos it works on one wii doesnt mean it will work on every wii, bootmii is needed as fallback id say untill theres like 10 beta testers or anything like that, like when i test shit for wanin, nothing writes to nand, so i feel a bit safer about tha(apart from cIOS)
That gets me thinking, Nintendo could fix some hacking with a firmware update, Sony couldn't, but the Pandora was mostly hardware related I guess, so that was their problem. The Wii is software based hacking.Phratt said:Right now seems like the perfect time to have a Wii.
I feel sorry for those who get Wii's after like 5.0 or something, 3.2 is like the 1.50 (PSP) of Wii.

Nintendo won't get to 5.0 for a few years, at the rate they're going.

Just a thought. If you have worked out the 3.4 FW update from removing the ZTP hack and the only issue is just installing it to the Wii's NAND what about bypassing the save manager all together. Would Gamesave Installer work, or even a modified version of FTPii to install directly to the NAND? I was unable to copy my SSBB game save from the Wii to the SD card with the factory save manager. The only way I could copy it was to use Save Extractor. Just a thought. Thanks for all your work.

The video shows, well, the only few things you can see in this video...the disc channel booting backup discs (without reboot) and my cool logo.
The other features you didn't see that are currently implemented in v0.2f are:
- Region Free System (channels, games, saves)
- Disc Channel lock removed, move it wherever you like...
- Skip Disc Update Check
- Rescue Menu (Hold Y on GC controller before logo)
- Removed NoCopy flag check, copy any savegames or channels you want.
and many, many more on the todo list.
