Hacking Copy save game

I have two NDS's with each their own G6. Is it possible to copy save games from one G6 to the other (so that both my kids will be at the same level). In particular I am talking about New Super Mario Bros.

Hmm... just tried that. It's not working. Any thoughts on what can be wrong?

I have just used the Windows Explorer... would that be sufficient?

yeah, your sram is still loaded in memory and will overwrite what you copy/pasted. turn on both G6s and when the menu shows, turn it off (thus clearing the sram cache). then recopy everything back over
