Hacking Configuring an xbox 360 to play burned games

Hello ladies and gentleman, first time poster and reader. I'm a bit new to this, so I thought I'd make a thread to concentrate information. What is the easiest solution to configuring (modding, JTAG, etc) an Xbox 360 black Elite non slim to play burned, or downloading Xbox 360 ISOs, excluding bringing it to someone else. I don't care if I lose Xbox Live or any online benefits, I just want to be able to play ISOs in anyway shape or form, burned or on the hard drive.
