Just got my OLED back from my installer but it looks like he installed Tinfoil, thankfully he had 90dns and DNS stuff enabled so it didn't get sent to Nintendo...is there a way I can clean the logs of any bannable offenses? Sorry if this is a question that's already been asked.

I Should have clarified I meant that I want to clean the switch logs so I don't get banned, not the tinfoil ones.
Oh you mean after a nsp installed? Well... I got terrible news for you then.
There is no 100% sure way to clean it, if the sysnand is dirty, it's always dirty.

BACKUP YOUR NAND! BACKUP YOUR NAND! BACKUP YOUR NAND! (Also boot0/1)
Some have been lucky with this:

Tegra Explorer system wipe.

Was it installed on Sysnand or Emunand? If the former, check for Sysnand backups under /backups. If on Emunand…don’t worry about it…your Sysnand is still clean.

How to Determine the System Menu Version

  1. From the HOME Menu, select “System Settings.”
  2. Scroll down the menu on the left-hand side and select “System.”
  3. The current system menu version will be displayed under “System Update.”

post a screenshot of this page. If it ends in E you are safe. If it ends in S they tarnished your Sysnand.

why would an installer put tinfoil on a customers sysnand, shitty thing to do.
1000% what I was thinking…needs a swift kick in the balls if true.
(Or maybe a stern talking to, but something!)

Just got a response from them, they admitted to using it but had exosphere and all the proper measures on to block Nintendo servers. I'm going to try the system wipe and hope for the best...I'm not big on Nintendo online so it isn't the end of the world for me tbh.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
